World Cancer Day 2013: Don’t Ignore Cancer Early Signs!
Cancer is a disease notorious for striking without symptoms, so today you can read about about it, on World Cancer Day and be aware of the cancer early signs often ignored that can be an alarm to see the doctor.
In many cases, the cancer diagnosis is delayed because of missed or ignored cancer early signs. It is also the main reason for which the cancer gains time to spread to other parts of the body, making treatment more toxic and expensive. Delaying a visit to the doctor can lower even more a person’s chance to cure.

World Cancer Day: Cancer Early Signs
Many cancer early signs are so common that people tend to ignore them. This is also one of the main reasons World Cancer Day is so important.
In some cases it could just be persistent cough that does not respond to antibiotic treatment, shortness of breath, appetite loss, headache, unexplained weight, gas, acidity, alteration in bowel movements or changes in moles in the body. Experts say that these are just infections but you need to get tests done to rule out the possibility of this being one of the cancer early signs, even more so, if the symptoms recur and continue for more than a couple of weeks.
World Cancer Day is a day which Placidway wants to emphasize by connecting cancer patients to treatments and prevention methods available worldwide.
